What type of services are being offered at GW Heights Pawnbroker?
We pawn and sell gold jewelry. Visit our store to shop a beautiful selection of rings, bangles, cuban chains, bracelets, necklaces and many more. Unfortunately, we do not buy gold jewelry.
What type of items do you take?
We only take gold jewelry – from 14k to 24k gold. We do not accept silver, diamonds, platinum, musical instruments, laptops, nor small electronics.
What are the requirements in order for me to pawn?
In order to be eligible for a cash loan, you must be 18 years or older and present a government issued picture ID such as a driver’s license.
What is the minimum cash loan?
The minimum cash loan to pawn is $10.00.
How long is my loan contract for?
In accordance with NYS’s guideline, the loan payment agreement is for a duration of 4 months. You are able to renew your loan after every 4 months or redeem your gold jewelry pieces at any time during the 4 months loan.
How do I redeem my items once my term is up?
Please visit our store and have your government issued ID and your ticket once you are ready to redeem your valuables.
What happens if I misplace or lose my ticket?
Should the ticket be lost or misplaced, please notify us as soon as possible in person. Additionally, we will need an exact description of the article pawned and a government photo ID to issue a stop ticket.
What if I am late with my payment?
We provide a 60 day grace period beyond the 4 month term. Should you need any more time beyond the 6 months, please let us know right away when you can make your payment so that we can coordinate accordingly to set your gold aside for pick up.
What type of payment methods do you accept?
We only accept cash for redemption of all pieces. We do not take checks, money orders, or credit cards.
